This is a special origin to Mutari Chocolate. This was the first country origin they visited. They watched farmers harvesting and processing the cacao that they now use in-house. This really cemented how Stephen wanted to move forward with the sourcing of their cacao beans. They want to see the livelihood of these farmers improved through their purchasing.
The meticulous nature of the Cacao Verapaz team producing and sorting this cacao is easily seen in every bag of cacao shipped.
